How will the funds be used?

Your tax-deductible donation will go towards supporting the work of Touching Base as it seeks to ensure necessary personnel and systemic supports are provided to those people with disability who require support to access sex services.

For example, your donation will help us to:

  • provide our free information service to people with disability on how to access sex workers who have training, are experienced and/or willing or equipped to provide services to disabled people, and
  • develop and provide training programs for people with disability, their service providers and carers, and for sex workers and other sex industry staff; including in regional areas.
Key Areas of Expenditure
  • developing new flyers and information resources for all our stakeholders,
  • extending our referral database of accessible commercial sex services premises and independent sex workers, and
  • raising the public and professional awareness of the issues surrounding the access and provision of sex services for people with a disability.
