Touching Base Service Provider Awareness Training
Conducted in partnership with Touching Base & Family Planning NSW, this workshop aims to assist all 3rd party stakeholders to fulfill their legal and ethical responsibilities by actively upholding the right of people with disabilities to have access to sufficient knowledge and information regarding sex, sexuality and human relations so he or she may make informed choices regarding their sexual and relational lifestyle.

Touching Base Inc is delighted to announce this workshop, supported by Scarlet Alliance - Australian Sex Workers Association, People With Disabilities Australia Inc and Family Planning NSW. This training event is timed to co-incide with the Scarlet Alliance National Forum 26th - 28th November in Brisbane. Sex workers are encouraged to come and join us in sunny Brisbane to attend our unique Professional Disability Awareness Training and the Scarlet Alliance National Forum.

This training programme has been developed by Touching Base NSW to provide sex workers with an opportunity to gain greater awareness and confidence when providing services to clients with disabilities. Sex workers are encouraged to share their own valuable hands-on experience during the course of the training, which is delivered by various tutors carefully chosen on the basis of their expertise.
